Boot Treasure Chest!

Start by registering for a number. To do so, complete a form at one of our retail partner locations, including your name, address, and telephone number. Place the completed form in one of our bins, and keep the top perforated portion, which shows the rules of the game, and includes your newly-registered number. This number is yours forever onward for the duration of the Boot Treasure Chest lottery. Each week, write your number on a sticker, affix the sticker to a toonie, and insert the toonie into a bin at any of our retail partner locations to have your number qualified for that week. One numbered toonie qualifies that number for the week, so there is no need to enter multiple toonies with the same number during the same week. When the draw takes place, all registered numbers will be included in the draw; however, if the number has not been played that week, the jackpot will roll over to the following week's draw. Play your numbered toonie each week, as you have to be in it to win it!

Official Lottery Rules

BOOT TREASURE CHEST

1. Players MUST be 19 years of age or older to play Boot Treasure Chest.

2. Your registered number(s) is/are yours for duration of the lottery.

3. There is no limit to the amount of numbers you can register for and play. Only one toonie per registered number for each draw is permitted.

4. Your number(s) will be entered into every lottery, but you can only win if your toonie is in.

5. Write your number on a sticker, stick it to your toonie, and place it in the Boot Treasure Chest Box in order to enter the draw.

6. Cut-off time for each Weekly Boot Treasure Chest draw is closing time on Saturday of each week. Sunday is our Collection day. Please Do Not play your toonie on Sundays. The Boot Treasure Chest Lottery draw will take place every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the lottery draw will take place the following day.

7. The draw will be streamed live from St. Gabriel’s Hall on the Boot Treasure Chest Facebook page using Facebook Live. Results will be publicized on the Boot Treasure Chest Facebook page.

8. If the number drawn was not played, the JACKPOT carries over to the next draw, making it a bigger JACKPOT! The maximum prize payout will be $100,000. If the maximum prize amount is reached, drawing will continue until there is a winning registered number.

9. The final draw of the license period must result in a winner.

10. To claim a JACKPOT prize, you must present a valid photo ID with proof of age upon request.

11. Winners have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. Prizes not collected within 90 days will be added to the first JACKPOT following the 90-day period.

12. Boot Treasure Chest reserves the right to make changes upon consultation with the Dept. of Digital Government and Service NL.

13. JACKPOT Prizes Payout is as follows: 50 percent to the lottery winner, and 50 percent to St. Gabriel’s Hall Inc.

14. Numbered balls in the draw bin will be individually reviewed annually, with removal of any numbered balls not played within the previous six months.
